For all those that don’t know me yet, I am Rafik Chaabouni, a future product of the EPFL company – EPFL stands for “Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne” which is in English the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (in Lausanne).
I am a 23 years old Swiss-Tunisian who doesn’t do much sport and gets scolded by all my friends in order to do some. I can already tell them that their efforts won’t be vain…
As hobbies I love travelling, diving (I have an advanced diver certification from PADI) and would be interested to do some climbing (mountain or indoor wall) too…
For the moment let’s go back to my cursus. After finishing my bachelor with an exchange year in CMU (Carnegie Mellon University), I followed my master in my home school in Communication Systems doing a specialization in Information and Communication Security.
As I loved doing my semester project in the cryptography world, I am pursuing this track by doing my Diploma Thesis at IBM Research Lab in Zurich, which is the focus of this blog. Hence I will keep you informed about my adventures in this citadel.
